History

Newton High School hosted one of the original 12 lacrosse programs in the state of NJ.  Winning a state championship in 1978, Newton High School was at the top of the state every year.  Although Newton would lose the lacrosse program sometime in the 1980's, the program would then be reestablished for the 2010-2011 season.
